IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week:  Are you looking forward to the end of the school year?  Are you still applying yourself in the classroom?  Are your grades where they need to be? Are you making excuses for any shortcomings or failures?  This is the time of year where it’s very easy to lose concentration on your academic and athletic prowess.  In fact, the following statement from an NBA coach really applies to this last month of school, especially if you are struggling, somewhat.  “You have a choice. You can give in, you can give up, or you can give it your all.”  Make the most of this last month of school.  Give it your best.  While this quote was spoken in a locker room, it applies as well to the student-athlete putting the final touches on the end of another school year.  Give it your all!
