Goshen High School provides excellent educational opportunities for each individual in its community of diverse learners. Our passionate, devoted staff focuses on meeting the needs of all students and helping them develop to their full potential. Our programs and curricula are designed to improve student learning and mastery and to prepare them for their future aspirations. Through its many programs and classes, GHS provides students enriching experiences that challenge them to practice, question, reflect, analyze, and evaluate. Students have opportunities to work one-on-one with teachers to improve and master material during the school day. GHS is dedicated to developing students who are lifelong learners and productive members of society.
In compliance with laws passed by the 2005 Indiana General Assembly, GHS, as well as all other Indiana public schools, will begin a voluntary reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance each day during the morning announcements. The Pledge will be followed by a daily moment of silence. As stated in the law, this activity is voluntary. Although students are asked to stand during the reciting of the Pledge, they are not required to participate.
The moment of silence following the Pledge will be explained to students as a time they may choose to:
- Think of something they’re thankful for
- Say a silent prayer
- Think of something they can do to help someone else
- Set some positive goals for the day
