Transition to Course 3 starts next week! Please note the schedule below. In-person 9th and 10th graders will be IN SCHOOL Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This schedule does NOT affect RedHawk Online Academy students.

Starting TODAY we are going all students free for their regular school meal; breakfast and lunch. This is due to an USDA waiver! IF a student wants a second meal or a la carte items they will be charged. Adults MUST pay for their meals. They are NOT included in this free program. Extra milk for packers is NOT free they must still pay. This free meals to all will last until the money runs out or December 31st. If the money runs out on Oct 25th then on the 26th everyone is back to paying if they do not qualify.
Students: Check your email for information about your Goshen Public Library eCard. We’re distributing virtual cards this year. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Hartzler, Mr. Collins, or Mrs. Collins in the learning commons.
There will be a drama club meeting IN PERSON on Thursday, October 1! We will meet in the auditorium from 3:45-5:00 in order to social distance. Please enter the auditorium through the stage doors in the music hallway. No prior theatre experience is necessary! We will be discussing acting opportunities, getting to know each other, and playing games. Please contact Ms. Pobocik (ppobocik@goshenschools.org) if you have questions! We can’t wait to see you!
It’s that time of year again! The Women’s soccer team is selling pies made by Dan’s Pies from North Webster Indiana. If you would like to buy one feel free to find a soccer player or send an email to either Coach Hulbert or Coach Bontreger! The last day that we will be selling pies is September 23 which is a Wednesday. The delivery of the pies will be October 7. Thanks for supporting your Lady soccer Red Hawks!

GCS needs every middle and high school student to have a daily self-assessment agreement on file, signed by a parent or guardian. These can be filled out and emailed to wswallow@goshenschools.org or kbeck@goshenschools.org. They can also be printed and sent in to GMS or GHS.

- The GHS RedHawks boys varsity soccer team traveled to visit the home of the Bethany Christian Bruins, and came away with a victory by a score of 3-0. Goals for the RedHawks came from Alexis Moro (2) and Ricardo Garcia (1). Assists for Goshen were Diego Romo and Ricardo Garcia. The win improves Goshen’s record to 4-6 overall, and they remain at 0-3 in the NLC.
- The RedHawks tennis team lost to a strong Concord team 1-4 on Tuesday. The #2 doubles pair of Brenton Jones and Will Nisley showed great toughness to come away with a 3-set victory. The JV team won 4 of the top 5 courts, thanks to Wyatt Hernley, Myles Mclaughlin, Andy Eby, Cormac Koop Liechty, and Joel Byler.
- The Goshen Unified RedHawks Varsity Flag Football team traveled to Wawasee High School for their season opener on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. They lost 26-54. Tanner Powell returned a touchdown most of the field. Kia Kurtz scored two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Tyler Daniels scored the final touchdown of the evening for the RedHawks. Daniel Peters also caught an interception during play. Despite losing the game to the Warriors, the RedHawks walked away with heads held high and smiles on their faces due to a loss that no one could be mad about.
- Goshen defeats Fairfield in 5 sets; 25-19,25-20,18-25,23-25,15-13. Kathryn Detweiler had 20 kills followed by Brynn Shoup-Hill with 11 kills. Megan Gallagher had 37 assists. Janiece Herrera had 10 digs followed by Sara Harmelink had 9 and Brooklyn Collins had 8.
- The lady Varsity golf RedHawks competed against Jimtown and Westview Tuesday night at Black Squirrel. Goshen celebrated their three seniors, Estella Borden, McKenna Cripe, and Jenna VanderWey. Goshen broke 200 and beat both Westview and Jimtown with a team score of 194! Although it was senior night, the sophomores had the low scores of the night. Maya Narayan shot a career best of 44 and Briza Tayagua-Delgado had a 45! From the JV, Kiley Wise shot the lowest with a 54!
- The girls and boys cross country teams competed at the NLC round robin super dual #2. The girls came away with 4 wins defeating Wawasee 23-33, Concord 25-31, Northwood 21-37, and Plymouth 26-32. And losing to Mishawaka 37-20, Northridge 39-20, and Warsaw 45-18. Sophia Yordy led the team placing 6th followed by Nataly Esqueda 27th, Sophia Koshmider 29th, Jackie Sixtos 38th, Mara Schrock 46th, Rylee Weishaupt 49th, and Carmen Pedraza 70th. The boys came away with 7 wins defeating Northwood 19-36, Northridge 20-35, Warsaw 18-41, Wawasee 17-44, Mishawaka 18-43, Concord 18-41, and Plymouth 16-47. Drew Hogan was the individual winner followed by Cole Johnston 2nd, Tommy Claxton 3rd, Ryan Diaz 6th, Adrian Mora 24th, Oliver Biek 28th, and Tyler Wiese 29th.
