Eighteen Goshen Community Schools students earned perfect scores on portions of ISTEP+, an Indiana state standardized test.

Goshen students earning perfect scores in the English portion of ISTEP+ were: Felix Perez Diener, Hugh Birky, Maggie Gallagher, Cade Cleveland and Melissa Daniels.

ISTEP English Perfect Scores

Goshen students who earned a perfect score in the math section of ISTEP+ were: Francisco Behan Morillo, Victoria Barkey, Luke Kratzer, Joshua Schrock, Nicholas Gayton, Katherine Shirk, Matthew Herrmann, Clayton Litwiller, Philip Wertz, Bryan Berkey, Ralph Peterson Veatch and Laura Price.

ISTEP Math Perfect Scores

Jonathon Snyder was the one Goshen Community Schools student who earned a perfect score in the science section of ISTEP+.

ISTEP Science Perfect Score

Students in grades 3 through 8 complete a part of ISTEP+ or Indiana Statewide Testing for Education Progress Plus in early March and another section in late April-early May. The purpose of ISTEP+ is to determine student achievement according to the Indiana Academic Standards.

Goshen Superintendent Diane Woodworth and the Goshen Board of School Trustees recognized the perfect-scoring students during the school board meeting Monday, Nov. 25, and thanked their parents for the time they have also put in to help their child reach academic success.
