Goshen Community Schools is preparing to launch a new Alumni Association.  The purpose of the association will be to reconnect former classmates, assist with class reunions, inform alumni of events, connect current students with alumni for possible mentorships, and offer donation opportunities for programs and projects not otherwise funded.

The foundation of this group will be to “honor the past, and embrace the future.” We understand that alumni from different generations have varied experiences and memories that influenced their time at Goshen. Our goal is to bring together generations of alumni to honor those interactions from the past, while supporting Goshen Schools now and into the future.

We are looking for alumni of all ages who would like to contribute to the formation of this association. The plans are in the very beginning stages and we would like to be deliberate about including alumni voices.

Goshen Community Schools has partnered with the Goshen Community Schools Foundation to create a Community Liaison position.  I was chosen to fulfill this role as of May 2021, with primary responsibilities being to develop this association and to unite the broader community with Goshen Schools. I will be holding two meetings this summer to begin this important work. I invite you to join me for open minded and thoughtful conversations.
