SPORTS NEWS:
- Any girl wishing to join the GHS Swim & Dive team should meet for information today at 4 PM at the GCS Aquatic Center. If your athletic paperwork is not turned in, you will not be able to practice, but you will be able to get information and a practice schedule. If you need a ride to practice, bus 14 will transport you from GHS to the Aquatic Center

Club Meetings
- French Club is meeting this coming Monday, November 1stduring the second session of SRT in room 1535. We will be having a “GHS Tour de France” and French snacks. Hope to see you there!
For National French Week, all French students are invited to a Francophone Trivia Contest. It is in room 1535 during the second session of SRT on Thursday, November 4. See Mlle Mack for more details.
- Interested in joining Ski Club this year? Come see Mrs. Clark in room 2515 for information.
- Attention Chess Players: Chess club begins this Thursday after school in room 1060 from 3:45 to 4:45pm. Please see Mr. Cross with questions.
General School Info/Job Opportunities
- The Fall GHS Red Cross Blood Drive will take place on Friday, November 12, from 8:00-2:00. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up. 16-year-olds need a parent permission form signed. 17-year-olds and older do not need a permission form signed. Please email or see Mrs. Wohlford to sign up or if you have any questions.
- French Club is celebrating National French Week by hosting a “French Breakfast Tasting” for all staff and students Tuesday, November 2 before school from 7:45-8:15. Any one at GHS is invited to come to room 1535 (1stfloor, end of Whiteman Hall) for some croissants, grapes, coffee, and treats!
As part of our celebration of National French Week, the cafeteria will be providing a French style meal option for lunch on Friday, November 5. Enjoy some tasty French inspired food right here at GHS!

Music News
- Congratulations to all of the members of the Crimson Marching Band for making school history this past weekend. The CMB competed in the Bands of America Super Regional with 63 other marching bands from 5 states and finished 2nd in their class and 13th overall Saturday night.The CMB will travel to Indy again this weekend to compete in the ISSMA Semi-State. Good luck to all students!!
