SPORTS NEWS:
- On Saturday, the boys’ basketball team will host Laville. Interra Credit Union is sponsoring free attendance that night for GHS students who show their current school year ID. Come see the boys play this Saturday. THE JV starts at 6 Pm with the Varsity game to follow.

- Goshen Varsity boys’ basketball fell to Mishawaka Marian 56-39. Goshen was led in scoring by Deecon Hill with 17 points. Goshen host LaVille on Saturday for a 7:30 PM tip
- Goshen boys JV basketball fell to Mishawaka Marian 46-36. Goshen was led in scoring by Nathan Pinarski and Andre Williams with 8 points each. Goshen host LaVille on Saturday for a 6:00 PM tip.
- Last night there were a lot of fast swims and great dives. Contributing to the scoring for the boys RedHawks were:
200 Medley Relay: Jeremy Stutzman, Levi Moser, Nick Zehr, and Austin Elliott
200 Free style: Levi Moser and Max Yegorov
200 IM: Austin Elliott and Fateh Singh
50 Free: Jeremy Stutzman, and Luis Abad
1m Diving: Caden Hodge and Crosby Poling Braun
100 Fly: Nick Zehr (1st Place), and Peter moser
100 Free: Austin Elliott and Manith Kamalakath
500 Free: Levi Moser and Max Yegorov
200 Free Relay: Logan Lagunas-Velazco, Manith Kamalakath, Fateh Singh, and Max Yegorov
100 Back: Jeremy Stutzman and Logan Lagunas-Velazco
100 Breast: Nick Zehr and Fateh Singh
400 Free Relay: Levi Moser, Austin Elliott, Jeremy Stutzman, Nick ZehrThere were some new PR’s and great times/scores. We look forward to using this as motivation for the rest of our season. Even though it was not a win, we still made improvements and will be continuing to get better. Goshen fell to Concord HS 137-49.
- The Varsity Lady RedHawks basketball team beat Central Noble at home. The Redhawks were lead in scoring by Kyra Hill with 12, followed by Tori Eldridge with 10, Sarah Harmelink with 7. An even scoring effort was rounded out by Briana Valderrama with 6, Breyana Cline with 6 and Brooklyn Collins with 3. The Lady Redhawks are back in action on Saturday, December 4th at Plymouth High School. JV tip is scheduled for 6:45pm with Varsity to follow.
- The Goshen Girls swam fast, but could not keep up with Concord tonight.
Adding to the girls score tonight were the 200 Medley Relay consisting of Ellie Walters, Olivia Goertz, Samantha Hunter, and Norah George-Miller brought the first points for the girls with their 2nd place finish. Espino and Ellie Walters in the 200 Free,.Addison Dierickx, Vannessa Murillo-Cruz, and Olivia Goertz in the 200 IM. Norah Goerge-Miller, and Casey Farver in the 50 free. Samantha Hunter, and Casey Farver in the 100 Fly. Norah George-Miller and Jillian Sweester in the 100 Free. Azuna Espino and Maggie Dorn in the 500 Free. Addison Dierickx, Casey Farver, Trinitee Lehman and Vanessa Murillo-Cruz in the 200 Free Relay. Vanessa Murillo-Cruz, Elllie Walters, and Riley Kim in the 100 Backstroke. Samantha Hunter and Olivia Goertz in the 100 Breaststroke. And the final points were added by Norah George-Miller, Jill Sweetser, Vanessa Murillo-Cruz and Sam Hunter in the 400 Free Relay.
Everyone worked hard, and continues to work at getting better. Even though the score doesn’t reflect this, it was a great meet with great sportsmanship and some new PR’s by many swimmers. Goshen lost 134-49
Club Meetings
- French Club will hold their Christmas meeting Monday, December 6th during the 2ndsession of SRT in room 1535. We will explore Christmas traditions in France and share gifts with others. Feel free to sign up using the SRT program or just show up. Hope to see you there! -Mlle Mack
- Key Club will meet next Thursday, Dec. 2nd during S2 SRT in the auditorium. Destiny Rescue will be presenting ways that our club can help rescue children who are enslaved around the world.
- BC2M (Bring Change 2 Mind) meets this Thursday, Dec. 2 during 2ndsession of SRT. We meet in the classroom of the learning commons. - Jostens has extended the due date for cap and gown orders. The price will go up for orders received after December 15th. Jostens will be back to GHS on Thursday, December 2ndduring SRT for the last in-person order day before the prices go up.

- The GHS musical this year is Guys and Dolls! If you have ever thought you might be interested in being on stage, learning to dance and sing, making new friends, and stretching your entertaining skills, this is the show for you! Auditions are December 2nd and 3rd after school. If you have any questions, get in touch with Ms. O’Leary via email (koleary@goshenschools.org) or reach out to people you know who have been in shows in the past. This is a GREAT show for people who have been thinking “Hmmmm, maybe I want to try it out!” We know you’ll love it!
