SPORTS NEWS:
- Any girl wishing to join the GHS Swim & Dive team should meet for information today at 4 PM at the GCS Aquatic Center. If your athletic paperwork is not turned in, you will not be able to practice, but you will be able to get information and a practice schedule. If you need a ride to practice, bus 14 will transport you from GHS to the Aquatic Center
- Basketball Sideline Cheer begins on Monday, October 25th 4-5:30pm at GHS warehouse. All athletic paperwork needs to be turned into the athletic department. Any questions please Coach Kristy, sloan@goshenschools.org

SPORTS RESULTS:
- Friday night the Goshen RedHawks took on the South Bend Adams Eagles in the opening round of Sectional football at Goshen High School. The RedHawks lost to the Eagles 35-14.Leading the offense for the RedHawks was Quinn Bechtel. He had 195 yards passing with two touchdowns and had 63 yards rushing. Noah Alford had 114 yards receiving with two touchdowns.
Leading the defense for the RedHawks was Isaiah Park. He had 14 tackles, with one being for loss of yards and a fumble recovery. Blake Wyman had 12 tackles. Drew Elliott had 11 tackles. Duncan Green also had 11 tackles with one being for loss of yards. Payton Hall had a fumble recovery.
The Goshen RedHawks finish the season with a record of 4-6. They finished with a NLC conference record of 2-5, placing them 6th in conference play
Club Meetings
GHS Students!
The 2021-2022 Esports Club will be starting again on October 25th.
We will meet Monday through Wednesdays in Room 1620.
From Afterschool till 5pm.
We will be offering League of Legends, Super Smash, Rocket League, and Overwatch.
And open to other suggested games. All experience levels welcome.
For our competitive players we will be joining a new league this year along with the Indiana Esports League to give more playing options!

- The Fall GHS Red Cross Blood Drive will take place on Friday, November 12, from 8:00-2:00. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up. 16-year-olds need a parent permission form signed. 17-year-olds and older do not need a permission form signed. Please email or see Mrs. Wohlford to sign up or if you have any questions.

Music News
- Congratulations to all of the members of the Crimson Marching Band for making school history this past weekend. The CMB competed in the Bands of America Super Regional with 63 other marching bands from 5 states and finished 2nd in their class and 13th overall Saturday night.The CMB will travel to Indy again this weekend to compete in the ISSMA Semi-State. Good luck to all students!!
