SPORTS NEWS:
- Congratulations to Nataly Esqueda and Cole Johnston from our cross country teams on being honored as the Edward Jones Student Athletes of the month for October. Nataly was the team leader all year and advanced to the Semi State meet where she ran one of her season best races but just missed out on state qualifying. Cole was one of the team leaders on the boys team that finished 10that the state meet this year and he placed 18th individually, earning IATCCC all state honors.
- Have you ever dreamed of announcing a sports event? What about the thrill of being courtside filming a RedHawks player hitting that 3 pointer?
Now’s your chance! GTV is will livestream girls and boys RedHawks basketball games. We need on camera announcers, camera people, and other technical jobs. No experience necessary! - The Fall GHS Red Cross Blood Drive will take place on Friday, November 12, from 8:00-2:00. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up. 16-year-olds need a parent permission form signed. 17-year-olds and older do not need a permission form signed. Please email or see Mrs. Wohlford to sign up or if you have any questions.
- The freshmen and sophomore classes are having a fundraiser on Monday November 22nd from 5-8 PM. Come get dinner at the new Culver’s on Elkhart Road. The proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards graduation and prom. Hope to see you there!
- Dolores Gordon has committed a murder! …Or has she?
You can find out when you come see the GHS fall play, “Acting Can Be Murder”! Performances are at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20 as well as 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors – they can be purchased at the door. Come support GHS students!

- The GHS musical this year is Guys and Dolls! If you have ever thought you might be interested in being on stage, learning to dance and sing, making new friends, and stretching your entertaining skills, this is the show for you! Auditions are December 2nd and 3rd after school. If you have any questions, get in touch with Ms. O’Leary via email (koleary@goshenschools.org) or reach out to people you know who have been in shows in the past. This is a GREAT show for people who have been thinking “Hmmmm, maybe I want to try it out!” We know you’ll love it!
