Good morning everyone! Welcome to those who are new and those who are coming back!
Building Trades students will meet at our Building Trades building which is located by the baseball field across from the high school
If you are driving and parking in the school parking lot you need to see the bookkeeper in the main office to purchase a parking permit. In order to get one you will need to bring in proof of insurance, license and registration, and $5.00.
If you stay after school for the after school snacks they MUST be eaten in the cafeteria. They cannot leave the room.
SPORTS:
Goshen fall sport competitions begin this week and there are currently no Covid related restrictions on attendance. We want to welcome you back and highlight a few events this week that will have no admission cost. On Tuesday, we host a tennis scrimmage at GJHS, a volleyball scrimmage in the main gym, and a boys soccer scrimmage at the GHS soccer complex for no cost. On Saturday, we host a girls soccer scrimmage at 10 AM for no cost. We will offer free attendance for GHS students at all of the regular season home openers too. Student Athletic passes that gain you admission to all regular season games and tourneys can be purchased in two ways. You can visit the bookkeeper and pay the traditional way and you will have a sticker on your ID OR you can visit goshenathletics.com, click the Ticket Spicket Icon, and purchase an athletic pass that will be accessible on your smart phone. Thanks for your support! The activity pass is $40.00
The Parent Player meetings for all fall sports except girls golf will be this Thursday, 8/12 after practices. The Unified Flag meeting will in the cafeteria at 5 PM, and all other sports will meet in the main gym at 6:30 PM.
Any student new to Goshen HS who missed fall sports tryouts, please visit the athletic department on Monday or Tuesday to find out how to still tryout. You must get a physical exam before next Wednesday and have all athletic forms completed. Thanks.
