SPORTS NEWS:

 

• There is one more week left to sign up for Intramural basketball. Team and individual forms are right outside of the athletic office. You have any questions, please e-mail Lucas Kauffman at lmkauffman@staff.goshenschools.org.”
• Girls track conditioning resumes today at 4pm

 

 

 

IN SPORTS ACTION TODAY:

• The Varsity and JV Co-ed Swimming teams will face NorthWood HS at home starting at 5pm
• The JV and Varsity girls’ basketball teams will travel to play Mishawaka Marian HS. JV starts at 6:00pm and Varsity starts at 7:30pm
• The JV and Varsity boys’ basketball teams will host Marquette HS. JV starts at 6:30pm and Varsity starts at 8:15pm

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

• Goshen Varsity Girls RedHawks lost both games in the RedHawk Holiday Tournament this past Saturday. The first game the RedHawks fell to East Noble 42-35 in overtime. RedHawks were lead in scoring by Kyra Hill with 17. In the consolation game the Lady RedHawks fell to Dekalb 40-38. The RedHawks were again lead in scoring by Kyra Hill with 14. The Lady RedHawks will be back in action away against Mishawaka Marion on Tuesday, January 4th. The JV is set to tip at 6pm with Varsity to follow.

 

 

• The JV Lady RedHawks won the Holiday Tournament this past Saturday by defeating New Prairie and Dekalb. In the first round, Goshen beat New Prairie by a final score of 28 to 27. In the championship game, Goshen beat Dekalb 33-21. Leading the RedHawks on the day was Grace Kercher with 18 total points, Joelle Hochstetler with 12 points, and Morgan Priebe and Dakota Powers with 10 points each. Goshen is back in action next Tuesday at Mishawaka Marian.
