SPORTS RESULTS:

• The JV Basketball Lady RedHawks were defeated by Plymouth by a final score of 15-29. Goshen was led in scoring by Grace Kercher with 8 points. The Lady RedHawks are back in action Tuesday night against West Noble. JV is set to tipoff at 6:00 with Varsity to follow.

 

• The Varsity Lady RedHawks opened up Conference play with a loss on the road to the Lady Pilgrims of Plymouth. In the loss the RedHawks fall to 3-5 (0-1) on the season. In the loss the RedHawks were led by Breyana Cline with 10 pts. We will be back in action on Tuesday at home vs West Noble with JV set to tip-off at 6:00 with Varsity to follow.

 

• Goshen Varsity basketball defeated LaVille 73-37. Goshen was led in scoring by Deecon Hill with 24 points, Gage Worthman with 14 points, and Drew Hogan with 13 points. Goshen will travel to North Side Gym on Tuesday to face Elkhart for a 7:30 PM tip

 

• Goshen JV basketball defeated LaVille 53-9. Goshen was led in scoring by Will Herschberger with 17 points. Goshen will travel to North Side Gym to face Elkhart on Tuesday for a 6:00 PM tip.

 

• It was a fun day at the RedHawk Relays.

  1st place Relays:
  Girls 200 Medley Relay: Ellie Walters, Olivia Goertz, Vanessa Murillo-Cruz, Jill Sweetser
  Co-Ed Crescendo Relay (50, 100, 150, 150, 100, 50): Gwyn Wood, Jackson Gaby, Sam Hunter, Nick Zehr, Riley Kim, Sam Goertz
  Co-Ed 800 Freestyle Relay: Logan Lagunas-Velazco, Maggie Dorn, Levi Moser, Norah George-Miller
  Co-Ed Class Relay: Riley Kim, Skye Steury, Sam Hunter, Nick Zehr

  2nd Place Relays:
  Diving Relay: Caden Hodge, Crosby Poling Braun
  Boys 200 Medley Relay: Max Yegorov, Fateh Singh, Peter Moser, Manith Kamalakath
  Boys 200 Butterfly Relay: Manith Kamalakath, Fateh Singh, Austin Elliott, Jeremy Stutzman
  Co-Ed 400 Medley Relay: Daphne Cid, Peter Moser, Addison Dierickx, Levi Moser

  There were some great times and lots of team cheering going on. It was a great day to be a RedHawk

• French Club will hold their Christmas meeting Monday, December 6th during the 2^ndsession of SRT in room 1535. We will explore Christmas traditions in France and share gifts with others. Feel free to sign up using the SRT program or just show up. Hope to see you there! -Mlle Mack

• Seniors: A scholarship list is available on Canvas and has been updated weekly. Please make sure to check out the GHS Counseling Office page and select Moduleson the left hand side. The list will appear on the very top and has the websites/PDF files linked. If you do not have access, please let Ms. Embriz (lembriz@goshenschools.org) know.

 

• SAT/ACT: Interested in taking the SAT or ACT? Make sure to check the deadlines for registration at their respective websites (collegeboard.orgor www.act.org). You will need to create an account if you do not have one already and complete the registration.

 

• PE Bowling

 

All GHS PE and FIT classes please make sure you have your bowling permission slip turned in by the time we leave for the bowling alley this week on Thursday and Friday.  Remember that you need to bring $5 dollars for each trip to the bowling alley.
