The Latin American Culture & Language Center and the Mayor’s Arts Council invited students to participate in a unique presentation of Encuentro in the Alley, taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Art Alley.

Types of work that were considered for the exhibit:
-handmade masks
-original artworks
-high resolution photography

Works will be displayed in a group exhibit highlighting Latino and Latin American arts in Goshen. All artists were welcome and all mediums of traditional art were considered. The exhibit will remain open for public viewing for the remainder of the season.

The following GHS students  had works of art selected to be in the Mayor’s Council Latina Cultural art show along with other chosen artworks from adults in the community: Rosa Aguilar, Jenifer Avila, Lauren Barton, Morgan Bruce, Elkah DeVoe, Yadira Diaz, Yenifer Escobedo, Savannah Friesen, Joel Lara, Sydney Mann, Samantha Myers, Sarai Rodriguez, Lupe Romo, Brandi Smith, Dani Smith, Iyla Stoy, and Brityna VanHooser.
