Goshen High School and Edward Jones are proud to announce the student-athlete of the month award to recognize athletic and academic excellence.  A senior male and female student-athlete will be selected from August – May each school year.  At the end of the year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female student athlete of the month, as selected by the GHS head coaching staff. 

 

The winners of the Edward Jones Student-Athlete of the Month Award for December are:

 

-Hailey Warrick:  Hailey is the daughter of Dennis and Lori Warrick.  Hailey scored 53 points in 5 December games, including a career high 18 in an NLC win over Wawasee. Hailey plans to attend IUPUI or Ball State to become a special education teacher.

 

-Louis Kissinger: Louis is the son of Larry and Kelly Kissinger.  Louis averaged 8.6 points per game and 5 rebounds per game in the month of December, playing a key role in the Redskins 5 game December winning streak. He scored a career high 14 vs. Bremen in first win of the season and 13 vs. Dekalb one week later. He is the teams leading rebounder, collecting 17 offensive rebounds on the season. Louis plans to attend Purdue University and major in Engineering.
