GHS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2020

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!! Do you or your parents speak Spanish? Today, November 10 at 6:00pm, in Goshen High School-Cafeteria there will be an informational night about requirements for College enrollment, and scholarships. In this time, Indiana University of South Bend staff will join us to talk about their programs and financial aid. Don’t forget your facemask and to keep social distance.

Atención estudiantes de 11 y 12 grado! Hablas tu o tus padres español? El martes 10 de noviembre a las 6:00pm en la cafetería de GHS tendremos información de los requerimientos necesarios para ir a la universidad y becas. Esta vez representantes de la universidad de indiana, IUSB explicara sus programas y ayuda financiera. No olvides traer tu cubre bocas y mantener distanciamiento social.

eSports Club will meet digitally for this week. If you have any questions or concerns please email Mr. Perry. Next In person meeting will be Nov. 16^th after school.

GHS will hold its Fall Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, November 13 from 8:00-2:00.  Donor sign-ups are beginning this week!  You must be 16 years old to donate.  Please see Mrs. Wohlford in room 3215 or email cwohlford@staff.goshenschools.org if you are interested in donating.

MEETINGS DURING SRT:

Are you interested in making GHS a safer, more just place for all students? The Equity and Inclusion Council needs feedback from YOU to know how to improve the school system for all people regardless of identity. We want to hear honest input from students about their experiences in school, and we want to make changes based on what you say. Conversations will take place during SRT on 11/12, 11/19. El Consejo de Equidad e Inclusión está trabajando para hacer de la Corporación Escolar de Goshen un lugar más seguro en el que todos nuestros estudiantes aprendan y progresen. Nos gustaría conversar de forma honesta con los estudiantes, sobre sus experiencias en la escuela. Nuestra meta es escuchar las perspectivas honestas de una amplia variedad de estudiantes sobre las experiencias que han tenido en nuestro sistema escolar para hacer cambios basándonos en dichas experiencias. Conversaremos durante el tiempo de SRT (11/12, 11/19). ¡Registrate aquí!

In Sports Action Tonight:

• The girls JV and Varsity basketball teams will compete against Lakeland at Lakeland High School starting at 6:00PM. Varsity game to follow at 7:30PM.

For athletic hub:  check with the athletic department if you need a bus ride to school for practice.
