With cooler weather and thoughts of Thanksgiving and Christmas comes the reality of Northern Indiana: The possibility of ice, snow, and the weather impacting school in the form of delays or closings. We want to prepare our school community for the possibility of schedule changes by providing everyone with information ahead of the need to use delays or closings.

• If we have a 2-hour delay, it will impact ALL GCS students, those who attend in-school and those who attend ROA. Everyone’s day will be delayed by 2 hours. Remember, when there is a 2-hour delay, buses will run 2 hours later than their usual time.
• If we close school for the day, it may be an eLearning day for everyone. Please pay close attention to the published announcements.
• Parents will be alerted about closings or delays via ParentSquare. However, the information will still be available on local TV and radio stations.
