On November 18^th, 20^th, 21^st, and 22^nd some students at Goshen High School will be taking required state ISTEP retakes.  Because only selected students must take the exam, the rest of the students will participate in online learning partial days. This means that all students who are testing should arrive at their normal time. All other students do not have to arrive at GHS until 10:45 a.m. However, all students not testing will have assignments that need to be completed on their computer. These late start online learning days only apply to students who are not testing. If you are not certain if your child needs to participate in either test, please have them check with their SRT teacher, Guidance, or the main office. 

If your child rides a bus, the busses will run at the normal times. Students who are not testing will be allowed to work on the online assignment or other homework in the cafeteria. There will be no delayed buses those mornings. Again, if students choose not to arrive until 10:45 a.m., they will be responsible for their own transportation.

These alternate schedules are put in place to help provide an excellent testing environment.  Please feel free to contact the principal or any of the assistant principals if you have questions. El 18, 20, 21 y 22 de noviembre, algunos estudiantes de la preparatoria Goshen High School tomarán de nuevo el examen estatal requerido ISTEP. Debido a que sólo estudiantes seleccionados deben tomar el examen, el resto de los estudiantes tomarán clases en días parciales en línea. Esto significa que todos los estudiantes que estén realizando el examen deberán llegar en su horario normal. El resto de los estudiantes no tienen que llegar a GHS sino hasta las 10:45 a.m. Sin embargo, los estudiantes que no deban hacer los exámenes deberán hacer su tarea en sus computadoras. Estos días de aprendizaje virtual solamente son para aquellos estudiantes que no harán exámenes. Si no está seguro de si su hijo necesita participar en alguno de los exámenes, pídale que consulte con su profesor de SRT, con el departamento de orientación escolar o con la dirección principal. 

Si su hijo toma el autobús escolar, los autobuses saldrán a la hora normal. A los estudiantes que no hagan los exámenes se les permitirá hacer su tarea en línea u otra tarea en la cafetería. No habrá autobuses que den servicio a una hora más tarde. De nuevo, si los estudiantes deciden llegar hasta las 10:45 a.m., serán responsables de su propio transporte.

Ponemos en marcha estos horarios alternativos para proporcionar un excelente ambiente de toma de exámenes.
