Congratulations to Mrs. Bruder’s 7th Period German 2 class on their 2nd win in a row for Spirit Fridays.  They challenge all 7th periods in the school to a spirit duel!  Do you have more spirit than they do?

Are you looking for a way to get involved?  Are you interested in local politics?  If so, be looking for a special announcement from Goshen mayor, Jeremy Stutsman, as he announces his plan for a city council youth advisor.  This will be a position elected by the students at Goshen High School.  More information is coming soon!

The Student Faculty Senate meets the first Thursday of each month in the media center.  All club sponsors are expected to attend.  All clubs are to have student representatives attend at least once/semester.  The first meeting of the year will be tomorrow from 7:45-8:15 a.m.  This group approves all fundraisers and new clubs/groups.  See Mr. Kissinger if you have any questions.

Are you a junior or senior who is overwhelmed by the college process or doesn’t have any plans after high school?  If you’ll be the first in your family to go to college, join Ms. Gomez (our new College Prep Coach) TODAY at 3:40 p.m. in the cafeteria for information on college readiness and preparation.  Ms. Gomez is prepared to help you apply for schools and scholarships, understand FAFSA and financial aid, find schools that have your major or career interest, and guide and support you along the way.

Students, if you are driving to school you must get a parking tag.  Officer Johnson has started checking vehicles in the parking lot.  Bring your license, current registration, current insurance and $5 to Mrs. Haney, the bookkeeper.
