ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Remember that your bus will pick you up in the front circle drive. You may use the doors that exit to the front of the school when you leave. We would appreciate that you get out there in a timely manner. The busses leave after 5 minutes.
The Ultimate Frisbee Club meets after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 p.m. on the administration field. If you’re interested in learning how to play the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, you can pick up your required paperwork from Mr. Snyder in the choir office, Lucas Kauffman, or in the main office. The paperwork should be turned in the first time you attend.

The Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donors. There is a blood drive scheduled for tomorrow at Faith United Methodist Church at 22045 CR 18 in Goshen from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please call 1-800-RED-CROSS or go to redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code “fumcgos” to schedule your blood donation appointment. Each person donating will receive one free admission ticket to Cedar Point.
Attention all potential softball players not participating in a fall sport: There will be open field workouts starting tomorrow at Shanklin Park from 4:00-5:45 p.m. Athletes must have a current Athletic Physical and Concussion paper work completed and on file. Are you ready for some softball?
The lost and found box will now be located at the Welcome Center.
The Goshen High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will meet for the first time Wednesday, August 19th at 7:30 a.m. in room 8030 (Mr. Krebs’s room). If you have any questions about FCA please stop by and see Mr. Krebs or Mr. Hutcherson.
This is just a reminder to make sure that you clean your trays up after you are done eating in the cafeteria. The cafeteria staff thanks you in advance for your cooperation with this.
Super Mileage Club Purpose: To develop super mileage cars that will travel as far as possible on one gallon of fuel. Members will assist Engineering Design and Development students with the design and construction of vehicles and assist with other technology and maintenance. The first meeting is September 8th from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in room 8010. See Mr. Holsopple for further details.
The Apex Lab in room 1160 is open from 7:15-8:15 a.m. Tuesday-Friday and 3:45-5:45 p.m. Monday-Thursday over the next three weeks for anyone needing to finish up work from this summer or get ahead this fall. Contact Mr. Wolf for more information.
