GHS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 9, 2016

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

GHS bowling practice for men and women will begin next Wednesday, August 17^th at 4:30 p.m. at Maple City Bowl. Practice will continue to be on Wednesdays each week. All are invited to try out. Please contact Maple City Bowl if you are interested in bowling but unable to attend.

All freshmen in a fall sport are reminded that you are to report to the cafeteria immediately after school for the “Be the Best” leadership program.  Do not go to your locker room first.  All are expected to be in the cafeteria by 3:45 p.m. for this program.

Auditions for the fall play, The Legend of Sleepy Hallow, are Thursday, August 11^th at 4:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Students may pick up cuttings and an audition application prior to Thursday in room 1400 with Mrs. Long before or after school. All students who are interested are allowed to try out.

The volleyball team is looking for managers and statisticians for this fall season. If you are interested or would like to know more about it, please email Coach West at kwest@goshenschools.org.

Herff Jones will be here during lunch on August 31^st and after school that day until 7:00 p.m. to take class ring and senior orders in the commons area.

The Ultimate Frisbee Club meets after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 p.m. on the administration field, starting this week. If you’re interested in learning how to play the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, you can pick up your required paperwork from Mr. Snyder in the choir office, Mr. Brubaker, Lucas Kauffman, or Mrs. Stealy in the main office. The paperwork should be turned in to Lucas Kauffman the first time you attend.

MEETINGS DURING SRT:

Stratford students will meet during the 1^st session of SRT on Thursday in room 3190.  Please be there!

The girls varsity volleyball team will compete at Bethany at 6:00 p.m.
