ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Picture retakes are on September 8th.
On Monday, Mrs. Husek’s American Experience class will need to take A lunch.
Reminder: Tomorrow’s football theme is tie-dye. Come to school and the football game all grooved out!
You may pick up your preordered yearbooks from last school year in the commons during lunch TODAY. There are also a few extras for sale if you forgot to order one.

GHS bowling practice for men and women will begin next Wednesday, August 17th at 4:30 p.m. at Maple City Bowl. Practice will continue to be on Wednesdays each week. All are invited to try out. Please contact Maple City Bowl if you are interested in bowling but unable to attend.
Auditions for the fall play, The Legend of Sleepy Hallow, are TODAY at 4:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Students may pick up cuttings and an audition application prior to auditions in room 1400 with Mrs. Long before or after school. All students who are interested are allowed to try out.
The volleyball team is looking for managers and statisticians for this fall season. If you are interested or would like to know more about it, please email Coach West at kwest@goshenschools.org.
Herff Jones will be here during lunch on August 31st and after school that day until 7:00 p.m. to take class ring and senior orders in the commons area.

The Ultimate Frisbee Club meets after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 p.m. on the administration field, starting this week. If you’re interested in learning how to play the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, you can pick up your required paperwork from Mr. Snyder in the choir office, Mr. Brubaker, Lucas Kauffman, or Mrs. Stealy in the main office. The paperwork should be turned in to Lucas Kauffman the first time you attend.
MEETINGS DURING SRT:
Stratford students will meet TODAY during the 1st session of SRT in room 3190. Please be there!
There will be a Key Club call out meeting on Tuesday, August 23rd during the 2nd session of SRT in the cafeteria. If you are thinking about joining Key Club or would like to know more, plan to attend. Students cannot be “signed out” for club or team meetings during SRT, so you will need to report to the meeting when the bell rings and attendance will be taken there.
The first regular Key Club meeting will be on Thursday, September 1st in the cafeteria during the 2nd session of SRT. This meeting is for current and new Key Club members.
