Goshen High School and Edward Jones are proud to announce the student-athlete of the month award to recognize athletic and academic excellence.  A senior male and female student-athlete will be selected from August – May each school year.  At the end of the year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female student athlete of the month, as selected by the GHS head coaching staff.

The winners of the Edward Jones Student-Athlete of the Month Award for December are:

• Hayley Ronci:  Hayley is the daughter of Donna Ronci and Daniel Wilham.  Hayley had 12 first place finishes in the month of December. She helped the swim team go 6-1 during the month of December. She signed a letter of intent to Olivet Nazarene University.  She plans on becoming a pediatric nurse.
• Sam Stegelmann:  Sam is the son of Bodie and Julie Stegelmann. Sam averaged 15.8 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game in the month of December.  His high point game was 23 points in the road win vs. Central. He had a Double/Double vs. Northridge on the road with 15 points and 10 rebounds and a near Double/Double vs. Fairfield on the road 18 points and 9 rebounds. Sam is undecided in his college choice

Edward Jones Student-Athletes of the Month for December
