Goshen High School and Edward Jones are proud to announce the student-athlete of the month award to recognize athletic and academic excellence. A senior male and female student-athlete will be selected from August – May each school year. At the end of the year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female student athlete of the month, as selected by the GHS head coaching staff.

The winners of the Edward Jones Student-Athlete of the Month Award for February are:

-Jessica Metz: Jessica is the daughter of Robert and Jana Metz. Jessica has been voted teamwork, mental attitude, team captain for 2 seasons. She has earned the scholar athlete awards and the coaches award. Jess has completed 4 seasons of Varsity Cheer. Jessica is undecided on her college but wants to major in biological sciences, go onto medicial school and eventually specialize in Endocrinology.

-Richie Sleppy: Richie is the son of Dale and Denise Sleppy. Richie was NLC Champion in the 132 weight class and Regional qualifier. Richie is a GHS Scholar Athlete. He plans to become a Fireman/EMT.
