The following is from an IHSAA Exemplary Sportsmanship Report, submitted by Elkhart Memorial representative Jacquie Rost:

In a gesture of sportsmanship, Goshen girls basketball presented one of our players, senior Skylar Axsom, with an autographed basketball before the game started. Skylar Axsom recently suffered a leg injury that, in all likelihood, has ended her season.  We are so appreciative of Goshen’s gesture, as it meant a lot, not just to Skylar, but also to our girls program and athletic department.
