2017 MIDDLE SCHOOL DIVISION

• Sam Stoltzfus (Goshen Middle School), Sea of Thought composed for String Quartet

Congratulations to GHS freshman Samantha (Sam) Stoltzfus on her winning IMEA composition Sea of Thought! Sam entered the composition for a string quartet while she was an 8th grade orchestra student at Goshen Middle School.

The submitted composition was adjudicated by Ms. Miho Sasaki of Butler University, Dr. Don Freund of Indiana University, and Dr. Jody Nagel of Ball State University. Ms. Stoltzfus was congratulated by the association for her fine work and achievement.

Sam will be recognized at the IMEA Professional Development conference in Ft. Wayne, IN on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
