GHS Teacher (Former JAG Instructor) Earns National Award
Congratulations to GHS teacher, Mr. Jordan Willsey, who won an award from the 2016 JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) National Seminar as a JAG Outstanding Specialist!
From WorkOne of Northern Indiana: This award is bestowed upon only a few specialists in the country and he was one of two from our region in the State of Indiana. This Outstanding Specialist Award is given to those who demonstrate excellence in their programs through their outcomes. He also received a 5 of 5 Award from State and National JAG, for attaining positive outcomes with his JAG students for the 15-16 school year. He surpassed our standard of; over 90% graduation rate, 60% total Job or military placements, 80% college or other education/training enrollments, and over 80% of overall total positive outcomes. Unfortunately Jordan was not able to attend our JAG National Seminar in Orlando to accept his award, but we did so, on his behalf. Jordan has moved on, and has become a teacher at Goshen High School. Our lost is your gain, but the seed he planted within these students and the foundation he laid for the Goshen JAG program will last.
Congratulations, Jordan Willsey, and thank you for your commitment to GHS students!
