GMS/GHS students will return to school in Course IV. Students at GMS/GHS will all have a hybrid schedule, meaning they will attend school in person some days of the week, and have classes online for other days. No students will attend GMS/GHS on Wednesdays; allowing staff to thoroughly clean the schools according to CDC guidelines.

Secondary students will be divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, according to the first letter of their last names. Group A will be for all students whose last names start with the letters A-L, and Group B will be for all students whose last names start with the letters M-Z. If families have students with different last names living in their home, families may choose either Group A or Group B to make it more convenient for their family. The placement into Group A or Group B is only pertinent as we start the year in Course IV.

All students with last names beginning with letters A-L will be placed into group A. All students with last names M-Z will be placed into Group B. Any parent with children who have last names in both A and B groups may call their school to have all the children in that household placed in the same group. The building secretary will make the necessary changes in the student system.

Group A will attend school on Monday and Tuesday, and have virtual classes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Group B will have virtual classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and will attend school on Thursday and Friday.
