English/Spanish Post GHS Track & Field continues English/Spanish Post

GHS Track & Field continues to impress! Last night at the NLC Championships in Warsaw, junior Kristina Petkova shattered two of her own school records—breaking the 100m dash mark by just 1 one-thousandth of a second (12.34) and setting a new GHS and NLC Conference record in the 200m with a blazing time of 24.98. She took home first place in both events.

Both RedHawk teams now set their sights on Sectionals next week—let's go, Goshen!

¡Vamos, Goshen!

Yesterday, we welcomed Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana’s Secretary of Education, for a special visit focused on our Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Dr. Jenner spent time meeting with students in Band, Engineering/Manufacturing, Welding, Fire Science, Business, and Nursing. She asked thoughtful questions about what students are learning, how they discovered their interests, and where they hope to go next.

We’re thankful to Dr. Jenner for taking the time to hear directly from our students and see the momentum behind our CTE pathways. Her support and leadership—especially around Indiana’s new diploma requirements—are helping shape strong futures for RedHawks.
