Monday (Day 6 )

9 AM -- Off to a good start this morning. The runners have run, and the fast has been broken. 2nd year students are off in the minibus headed for the Dolphin Research Center for their field trip (hope to get some pics later from Chad.). 3rd year students are off snorkeling already. It is a clear sky, 80 degrees, and under the palms the 1st-year students are experiencing Bud's Arthropod seminar.

7 PM -- what a great day! The weather has been beautiful and the ocean is very smooth and clear so the snorkeling is great. Out of sympathy to y'all, some students seem duty-bound to soak in all the sun they can, which is a good deal more than they should. But after excursions in the afternoon and a great meal, things are settling into a fine evening on the beach.

Herewith are a number of snapshots from the afternoon including Chris Weaver's algae seminar going on right now.

Here are some photos courtesy of Chad Weaver, Photographer for the Goshen News, who accompanied the 2nd year students to the Dolphin Research Center

Also, in a change from previous years, we are now of on Florida time so we are an hour ahead of you in Indiana.
