Goshen High School Girls Track & Field is a Varsity & JV sport that offers athletic opportunities to a diverse group of student athletes. Our program is designed to help athletes find their niche in the sport & improve their skills as the season progresses. We emphasize the importance of teamwork, goal setting, and indiviudal improvement, as well as the need to understand the sport & enjoy it while working hard.

Track & Field requires no try-outs. Interested athletes must attend 10 days of practice before being eligible to compete. To be considered for the team and to remain on the team, athletes must maintain good academic and moral standing in accordance with the rules found in the Goshen High School Athletic Handboook & the Girls Track & Field Team Handbook.
Athletes are expected to attend practices regularly (including practices over breaks) and be on time to every practice and meet. Athletes will need to have proper gear for practices, including weather-apropriate clothing and proper training shoes. Members of the track are expected to take their training seriously. A fitting way to sum this expectation up is to say, “We practice with intensity so that we can compete with intensity.”
