July 24th  Alumni Game

The Goshen high school girls soccer team held their annual alumni game Saturday evening. The current team showed signs of a promising season with a strong performance by defeating the alumni 4-1.  Incoming freshmen Martha Castillo had 3 goals to lead the lady Redskins. Gaby Romo, Lauren Stutzman, and Carla Guerrero assisted on the goals. Junior Naomi Moreno also scored for the Redskins.  Martha's older sister Marcela Castillo (2009) scored the alumni's only goal assisted by Emily Kolbus (2007).
    The Goshen girls open their 2010 season on the road this year at Memorial on August 17th (JV at 5:00pm followed by the varsity at 6:45pm).
