The GHS cheer program has two seasons: football and basketball. There are separate tryouts for each season.

We have a freshman, JV, and varsity squad for both seasons. Cheerleaders that participate in football or basketball are eligible to compete in summer county fair competitions. Last summer, the GHS varsity competed in three county fairs, bringing home top honors in two of those contests.
